About Hyllningsfest

We created this video at Svensk Hyllningsfest 2019 in Little Sweden USA in Lindsborg, KS. It has been shared by Visit Lindsborg on Facebook! Svensk Hyllningsfest is held every other year. It is a great time for this small community to celebrate their Swedish heritage. Approximately 18,000 people flocked to Lindsborg this year on October 18th and 19th for this wonderful celebration. Some of the feature entertainment included Swedish dancing, wrapping of the Maypole, the Grand Parade, and the Children's Area. There was so much to do and see! In addition to the feature entertainment, some other performers included Topeka Drumline, Hanson Family, Spoon Man, David Lucas Comedy and Magic Show, Drum Safari, Wheatland Brass, Sven and Ole Joke Competition, Mesner Puppet Theater, and music by Everyday Lights and The Blades, among many other.
